When I'm imagining my "Happy Place" this is one of those places. Surrounded by abundant swathes of poppies in pinks and reds. I am lucky enough to have both colours of poppies growing in my own garden and am amazed every year when they literally "pop" open overnight.
I've used layers of acrylic paint, oil pastels, coloured pencils to create a complex range of colours and textures.
It is an abstract mixed media painting is on acid free acrylic paper and measures 30cm x 40cm
This piece is unframed but it will come appropriately packaged and in a cellophane wrap for protection in transit.
