This vibrant and colourful piece is made using strips of recycled paintings and paint palettes. It is a visual memory of paintings I have completed in the past.
Look closely and you will find some small vintage stamps and text that add another layer of depth and meaning to this piece.
*** I very rarely sell these pieces as they become a personal reminder of favourite colour combinations, mark making successes and textures that I have produced. I normally hang them above my studio desk for inspiration and as a learning tool. However I made this one on a whim having been chatting to a client about a similar multi coloured work I made last year. I had some lovely cuttings by my studio desk in the gallery this week so once completed I decided to offer this new one for sale immediately.
